Jason Walter, founder of Carolina Land Realty, has extensive experience in both commercial and residential land development. In the past 7 years alone he has headed acquisitions for land development projects totaling more than $300 Million in 31 different states. Prior to Carolina Land Realty’s inception, he served as Vice President of Business Development for RealtiCorp, a South Carolina based commercial land developer.

After noticing increasingly sizable gaps in the services provided by traditional Land Development and Brokerage firms, Mr. Walter was inspired to start Carolina Land Realty. His vision was to utilize state-of-the-art Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to pinpoint optimal land tracts, and then conduct comprehensive research to determine the land’s best use. By providing commercial and residential development services, along with general brokerage, Carolina Land Realty has uniquely positioned themselves as a leader in the local market.

Mr. Walter is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Board of Realtors for Western North Carolina, Greenville, and upstate South Carolina. He holds a B.S. and a Masters degree from Clemson University. When taking the increasingly rare break from his work, you may be able to find him watching football at his Alma Mater, or fishing at one of his favorite spots throughout the region.

Charles was born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  His love of the state was reason enough for him to stay in the area and attend Clemson University.  While at Clemson, Charles developed an interest in real estate and decided to focus on courses that would broaden his knowledge of the subject.  During his final semester at the school he began an internship with Carolina Land Realty in the Greenville office.  Charles graduated with a degree in financial management with emphasis on real estate.   Charles immediately moved to the low country and began work with the Carolina Land Realty office in Goose Creek.  Charles has worked closely with landowners in the Charleston area to provide knowledge and assistance with real estate related activities.   He enjoys the challenge of helping people; whether they are looking for the perfect piece of property, or if they have a tract of land they would like to sell. 

Charles currently lives in Mount Pleasant.  In his free time he enjoys being on the water, he is happy on his boat or surfing at one of the nearby beaches.  Although he loves his new home in the Low Country Charles still enjoys making visits to the upstate to see his friends and family, spend time at his Alma Mater, or to go for a mountain bike ride on one of his favorite trails.   

James grew up in Harleyville, South Carolina and attended Clemson University; he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  James began his career as a land specialist with Carolina Land Realty where he works with landowners in the buying and selling phases of land purchases. James not only works with his clients on purchasing and selling property, but he establishes a good personal relationship with each one of his clients in order to better assist them and develop a lasting relationship.

Along with his completion of a Bachelor of Arts degree from Clemson, James has had many other successes. As a member of Kappa Alpha Order fraternity he has held many significant positions. He enjoys coaching the youths of the community at Walhalla Middle School, Alston Middle School, and various Dixie Youth Baseball programs in the low country and the upstate.  James currently resides in Harleyville, South Carolina. Some of his interests include spending time with family, exercising, hunting, fishing, and attending his Alma Mater Clemson Football games.

Susan grew up in Greer, South Carolina and attended Clemson University; she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management.  As the Director of Marketing for Carolina Land Realty, Susan works with each agent to obtain information on our listings and market properties. She works to market clients’ properties by creating marketing packages, marketing flyers, working extensively with mapping programs, and working to connect buyers, sellers, and agents; she also markets our clients’ properties through various media sources. Her initiative and creativity makes her a valuable asset for the team of Carolina Land Realty.

Along with Susan’s completion of her Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University, she has accomplished many other things. Some of her triumphs include: participant in the Multiple Sclerosis Fundraiser Walk, coordinator for a Toys for Tots fundraiser drop off location, and an active member and donor to organizations such as the ASPCA Advocacy Brigade, the IFAW Organization, the WSPA Organization, and the Humane Society of the United States. Susan currently resides in Greer, South Carolina. Some of her interests include outdoor activities such as hiking and gardening. Susan also enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and pets.
