Jason Walter, founder of Carolina Land Realty, has extensive experience with all types of land. In the past 8 years he has headed acquisitions for land projects totaling more than $300,000,000 in 8 different states. Prior to Carolina Land Realty’s inception, he served as head of acquisitions for Heritage Green, an environmentally sustainable development company out of Australia.

After noticing increasingly sizable gaps in the services provided by traditional Land Brokerage firms, Mr. Walter was inspired to start Carolina Land Realty. His vision was to utilize state-of-the-art Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to pinpoint optimal land tracts, then conduct comprehensive research to determine the land’s best use.

Mr. Walter is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors for Charleston, SC. He holds a B.S. and a Masters degree from Clemson University. When taking the increasingly rare break from his work, you may be able to find him watching football at his alma mater, or fishing at one of his favorite spots throughout the region.

Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Greg attended the College of Charleston and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in real estate.

Greg’s love of the Charleston area has kept him there and he looks forward to being able to help bring landowners the services they need in the Low Country.  Greg swam competitively for 10 years, competing as a collegiate swimmer all four years and helped to win two Southern Conference championships.  He enjoys going to the beach, surfing, swimming, camping, and being outdoors.  He also likes to spend time with family and friends.

As a student at the University of South Carolina, Rembert studied marketing and soon found a job at what is now the Department of Natural Resources where he had articles published in SC Wildlife Magazine. He also enjoyed a career as a Captain in the Law Enforcement Division.  While continuing his interest in the outdoors he worked in marketing at the prestigious firm, GMK and Associates in Columbia and Charleston, gaining utilities construction experience with various family associated companies.  Rembert has over 40 years of experience in land development and marketing real estate with related construction and utilities. He now specializes in finding buyers for large forestry tracts, farms and plantations.  These local and international clients quickly become friends and neighbors. 

Rembert enjoys spending time at his lifelong home on the Cooper River at Lewisfield Plantation just south of Moncks Corner, SC; here he enjoys the many outdoor activities afforded this pristine environment.

Susan grew up in Greer, South Carolina and attended Clemson University; she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management.  As the Director of Marketing for Carolina Land Realty, Susan works with each agent to obtain information on our listings and market properties. She works to market clients’ properties by creating marketing packages, marketing flyers, working extensively with mapping programs, and working to connect buyers, sellers, and agents; she also markets our clients’ properties through various media sources. Her initiative and creativity makes her a valuable asset for the team of Carolina Land Realty.

Along with Susan’s completion of her Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University, she has accomplished many other things. Some of her triumphs include: participant in the Multiple Sclerosis Fundraiser Walk, coordinator for a Toys for Tots fundraiser drop off location, and an active member and donor to organizations such as the ASPCA Advocacy Brigade, the IFAW Organization, the WSPA Organization, and the Humane Society of the United States. Susan currently resides in Greer, South Carolina. Some of her interests include outdoor activities such as hiking and gardening. Susan also enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and pets.
