Jason BurbageLiving his entire life in the Carolinas, Jason has a deep appreciation for the natural beauty found in the region. He grew up in rural Sheldon, SC (Beaufort County) on his family’s farm. It was there that he developed his love for the outdoors. After receiving his B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Clemson University in 1998, Jason moved to Charleston, SC. He went to work with Prudential Carolina Real Estate and specialized in the brokerage of large acreage, farms and plantations as well as general residential brokerage. Jason joined the Carolina Land Realty team in 2007. He is a Partner and serves as Broker in Charge of the Columbia and Greenville offices. He holds a Real Estate Broker’s license in South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia.
An avid outdoorsman, Jason enjoys hunting, fishing and riding cutting horses. He is currently a South Carolina Wildlife Federation board member and is President of the Lexington County Timber Land Owner's Association. He also is an accomplished inspirational speaker and spends time raising money to support the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
Jim TaylorJim Taylor, a North Carolina native, has made Columbia, SC his home for the last 25 years. After graduating from Elon University with a degree in business administration, Jim launched a successful sales career spanning over 30 years. Over the course of his career he successfully built two start-up companies; building sales levels to more than $7 million. A long time interest in real estate spurred a career change decision and Carolina Land Realty presents a natural fit.
Jim and his wife Elizabeth have two children and one grandchild; both Catherine and Jack are graduates of Clemson University. The Taylors are Solid Orange Clemson supporters. A lifelong, avid outdoorsman, Jim has enjoyed spending his leisure time hunting, hiking, and training for Grand Canyon hikes; having completed several rim-to-rim hikes. Local volunteer activities include the Saint Andrews Arbor Day Committee. Jim is a member of Seven Oaks Presbyterian Church and is an Ordained Elder.
